Where are you located?
• I am located in Maroubra, Sydney.

Do you have a shopfront?
• No, I am a mobile photography business meaning I can meet with you to discuss your inquiry such as in the comfort of your own home or at a café etc.

Would you travel to other locations in Sydney and elsewhere?
• I can travel to anywhere in the Sydney region, greater NSW and interstate (see payment and fees section for further details).

PERSONALISED SERVICE:

How do you choose a location for wedding photographs and family portraits?
• I take into account locations that are of significance to you in order to source the best possible location for your photo shoot. For weddings I also travel to your chosen reception and ceremony location(s) to source options for photographic opportunities. I do all of my research for your special day or portraiture shoot prior to date booked so that I have a clear understanding of your needs and of the photographic opportunities available on the day.

Do you stay in regular contact in the lead up to the wedding, event or portrait shoot?
• Yes, I believe in regular follow up with my clientele and I am happy to meet with you in person a couple of times prior to your booking to discuss any concerns, needs or any additional information that you or I may require. I can also be contacted via email or on my mobile phone to answer any questions that you may have.

RECEIPT OF GOODS & ORDERS

When do I receive my photographs?
• 10 working days for photographs (including the DVD put to music if you have a wedding package).
• The wedding album is 15 working days.

What quality are the photographs that I will receive?
• The images are all high resolution jpeg files that can be enlarged to any size.

Do you watermark your photographs?
• No, the photographs you receive are ready to print and do not have a watermarked logo.

How do I order additional DVDs for my wedding guests, friends or family members?

• You can purchase additional DVDs via the website by going to the store section and filling in your details via an online form. Goods are posted once payment is received.

PAYMENT & FEES

How do I make a payment?
• Payment can be done either by direct bank transfer (details of bank upon request) or via bank cheque. All cheques to be made out to Emma Porteous.
• All goods must be paid in full 2-4 weeks prior to the booking.
• If you want to pay in instalments that is fine.

How much is the booking deposit for a wedding package?
• The booking deposit is $200 and is non-refundable. The booking fee is built into the total cost of the wedding package, so it’s not a hidden extra.

How much is your travelling fee?
• I charge a travelling fee for anything outside of the Sydney metropolitan area, however the pricing varies depending on the distance travelled. I take into account your budget and try to negotiate the price.

Do you charge a photography permit fee?
• In some instances I may have to charge a photography permit fee as some locations are public land (such as parks and beaches). Some local councils require photography permits to utilise the premises. I find out whether a permit will be required for your photo shoot and pass on the cost of the permit to you (note: permit fees vary).
